Gentlemen!
Here enclosed I have the honour in accordance to your correspondance with Mr. P. Johansen to forward you two autochrome photographs from my "Greco".
As to the colours I have only to remark, that of course they are less full and precious in the photograph than in the original painting itself. The small photograph is in that way nearer to the painting than the great one.
The yellow is not yellow enough, the crimson is not sufficient wine or bloodred, and the grey colours in the blankets e.t.c., have disappeared.
