Dear Sir.
I have come to London to study the early pictures of El Greco. Therefor I beg you to give me permission to se the two in the Sir Cook Collection in Douchty House in Richmond and take some notes.
I have allready written to Sir Cook but I have got no answer. Because I am only in London for very few days I take the liberty to write directly to you.
I should be very obliged to you if you would give me permission to visit the collection more than once
