I have received your letter of 9th Febr. and I see that you perhaps might want to buy some of the pictures
I therefore went to work   studying those pictures that were for sale very intensely – and I did find out, that the best of them were very clever imitations – and those there really were genuine, were absolutely without artistic value –and not worth buing at all.
It might be, that the 12 apostles of Greco are genuine, at least they are catalogized by

Manuel B Cossio in "El Greco"
The price about 50,000 pesedas.
