Dokumentindhold

Mr J. F. Willumsen,
Strandagervej
Hellerup
Danmark.
Dear Sir,
In reply to your favour
of the 5. inst. we beg to say, that we are surprised by its contents.
As you will perhaps remember, your plastergroup "Man & Woman" was broken already when it arrived here. You then tried in vain to restore it, and it finally was forwarded in the same state. The broken pieces have been packed up and put into the case. All this must be known to you, as you have been here at the time of your exhibition. -
But after all we are not responsible for sculpture etc. as you will learn by the above printed terms of exhibition. Your letter therefore is to no purpose anymore. –
p.t.o.
The reimbursement of 40 M.- was for our expenses of repairing the cases, which have been in a very bad condition. –
We wrote you this already once. We also handed you our bill for our duty-expenses and for the forwarding differences about M. 121.- and now beg you, kindly to send us the amount as soon as possible. –
Meanwhile we are, dear Sir,
yours very truly
Eduard Schulte.
